How can I register a product in MySonicWall account?

Description

This article describes how a user can register products in their MySonicWall Account. There are multiple ways to register firewalls in the MySonicwall Portal.

Resolution

1. Log in to mysonicwall.com account.

2. Navigate to Register Products under My Workspace.

3. Choose a tenant (Product Group), enter the Serial Number/Activation Key/Assign Token.

4. Enter the Friendly Name for your product (optional), Authentication Code*, and Select | Choose Management Options.

5. Choose Option as “On Box” or “On Cloud” (For cloud-based products only). Click Done.

TIP: The Authentication Code can be found on the silver label on the bottom exterior of your unit.


NOTE: Friendly Name and Product Group are not mandatory and can be changed at any time. These are used to identify the devices based on the name.
